Since April 5, 2020, the logo of Hand-in-Shot Productions is a hand surrounded by cameras (the name "Hand-in-Shot"), with the words "Hand-in-Shot Productions" on top and "San Diego, California" (Hand-in-Shot Productions headquarters) on the bottom. In the middle of the hand is the letter H, from the old logo of Hand-in-Shot Productions.
Since the 19th episode of Sigillum Multarum, the company uses this flag: a purple field with an H on it. It is a banner of arms derived from the H emblem on the current logo, itself derived from the former company logo.
From the channel's registry on November 27, 2019 until April 5, 2020, the logo of Hand-in-Shot Productions was a white H on a purple background. It was originally assigned to the Hand-in-Shot Productions channel by YouTube on the channel's creation, and served as a logo for a few months afterward. It was also the original icon for the Hand-in-Shot Productions Twitter account when it was created on March 19, 2020. The H logo served as a logo by itself until April 5, 2020, when the current logo of Hand-in-Shot Productions was created. The H logo is still used as an element of the current Hand-in-Shot Productions seal, as well as the flag.
This logo was first adopted on September 6, 2021, to commemorate the American Labor Day. The central emblem's colors were changed from a black-and-purple sphere to a red-white-blue gear. The colors are a reference to the US flag, but the red is also an allusion to the usage of red by European labor groups (example picture) on International Workers Day (May 1), the international equivalent to the US's September 6. The gear represents the working class, which is what Labor Day commemorates.
The banner of Hand-in-Shot Production is a hand next to a camera, to represent the name "Hand-in-Shot Productions". The actual name is shown below. This banner is used since the channel's creation on November 27, 2020, and is also used by the Twitter account.
The flag of Project Campfire has been in use in it's current form since September 30, 2020. It is filled with a lot of symbolism, as is described here:
Yellow flag: an allusion to the "Q flag" or "Yellow Jack", a signal flag originally used by ships to indicate a quarantine, but now used to indicate that there is no contagion on board. There is no contagion onboard Project Campfire, so the flag of Project Campfire is yellow.
The Campfire sign: a reference to the name of Project Campfire, as well as a road sign used by China to indicate a literal campfire. The presence of a Chinese road sign can be seen as representing the project's name, and as a symbol of the first country affected by COVID-19.
The motto Semper Vigilans was added to the flag to mark 200 days of Project Campfire's operation. The phrase Semper Vigilans is Latin for "Ever Vigilant", and is both the motto of San Diego, California, where Hand-in-Shot Productions is based, and a means of promoting vigilance during this pandemic.
This flag has been used on these following days:
September 30, 2020-October 27, 2020
November 2, 2020-December 1, 2020.
January 4, 2021-March 14, 2021.
April 21, 2021-April 22, 2021.
April 23, 2021-April 25, 2021.
May 1, 2021-September 6, 2021.
September 7, 2021-December 1, 2021.
January 12, 2022-present.
The times when this flag was not in use are when a special flag was used instead, to commemorate a holiday or a milestone of Hand-in-Shot Productions.
On March 13, 2022, the Project Campfire flag was changed to mark its two-year anniversary.
On December 30, 2021, the Christmas flag was modified to include the years "2021" and "2022", as well as the phrase "New Year", all representing New Year's Day. The Christmas decorations were retained to represent the release of the second A Hand-in-Shot Productions Christmas video of 2021.
On September 6, 2021, the border around the seal was replaced by a gear, to commemorate the US's Labor Day and, in general, the working class. Like on the equivalent Hand-in-Shot Productions logo, the red is a reference to demonstrations by European labor groups on May 1, the international equivalent to the US's September 6.
To mark World Immunization Week and Vaccination Week In The Americas (the last week of April), several symbols were added from April 25 until May 1, 2021. The dots on the seal were replaced by vaccines (which are pretty important for ending this pandemic), and the motto Semper Vigilans was replaced with "GO GET A VACCINATION!".
From April 22 until April 23, 2021, the Project Campfire flag was changed to green for Earth Day, to represent the environment.
From March 14, 2021 until April 21, 2021, to mark the one-year anniversary of Project Campfire, the flag of Project Campfire was changed to display the years 2020 (when Project Campfire began) and 2021, which is this year.
From December 30, 2020 until January 4, 2021, the numbers "20" and "21" replaced the Christmas lights (see below) to commemorate the beginning of 2021.
On December 1, 2020, Christmas lights were temporarily added to the Project Campfire flag to symbolize the upcoming holiday. This flag lasted until December 30, 2020, when the New Years' flag was adopted.
This flag was later readopted on December 1, 2021, and remained in use until December 30, 2021, when it was modified to form the aforementioned Christmas/New Year flag.
From October 27, 2020 until November 2, 2020, the yellow field on the Project Campfire flag was temporarily changed to black with gray cobwebs in time for Halloween spookiness!
This flag, in use from May 7, 2020 to June 5, 2020, was a temporary modification of the normal Project Campfire, with some added details to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe (Victory in Europe Day). This flag lasted until June 5, 2020, the 75th anniversary of the beginning of Germany's occupation the Allies. Two extra symbols were added to the logo of Project Campfire in the form of flags to replace the dots between the text. The flag on the left is the flag of Germany while occupied by the Allies (which is also the signal flag for the letter C), while the flag on the right is the current black-red-gold flag used by the Federal Republic of Germany since 1949.
The old flag of Project Campfire is a slight modification of the March 29 flag, with rounded text. This flag was temporarily replaced by the V-E Day Project Campfire flag from May 7 to June 5, 2020, when the April 17 flag was re-adopted. This flag then lasted until September 30, 2020, when it was replaced by the Semper Vigilans flag to mark 200 days of Project Campfire.
This was the first flag of Project Campfire, which was adopted on March 29, 2020, and had the same symbolism as the April 17 flag. The difference between the original flag and the April 17 flag is that this flag's Project Campfire text is straight instead of curved around the campfire sign. This is because the old flag was designed fully using computer technology that can not easily curve text. This was resolved on April 17, 2020 by drawing the words on paper, then adding the sign and flag electronically. Now, the flag of Project Campfire looks more normal.
