Welcome to my site!  I have 8+ years of empirical research experience in Applied Economics, Public Policy, and Financial Markets, including health care/health insurance, capital markets, housing markets, and the airline industry.

I received my Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Northeastern University in Boston in December 2018, after that, I worked as a Research Staff at Harvard Business School and as a Private Equity Analyst at a private equity firm. From November 2019 to November 2021, I worked as a Postdoctoral at the Center for Insurance Policy and Research (CIPR) at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). During my Postdoc, I led key insurance/economic research efforts and did various statistical, econometric, and market analyses on health care/health insurance, capital markets (with a focus on infrastructure investment), and analyses on insurance industry macroprudential initiatives. After that, I worked as a Data Analyst and Visualization Specialist for a short period at a small community engagement and market research company, doing quantitative analysis, data visualization, and dashboard development, as well as related research work for survey data as the primary analyst.

Currently, I am looking for positions in economic research, data science for business analytics, and financial market analytics. I'm interested in both abstract models of decision making and real-world economic applications. I seek to ask and answer interesting questions using the full economic/financial toolbox.
