ROMER CRISTOBAL
President
Romer Cristobal currently serves as the President of the Hamptons Community Foundation.
Romer retired after a 30-year career with the State of California having served with the State's management team. Prior to entering state service, he owned and operated a luggage store in the Bay Area while attending college. Three years before retiring, he helped organize the Hamptons Community Foundation (HCF) and currently serves as its president.
Romer is also a board member for the Hamptons Owners Association (HOA), a planned community of nearly 1,300 households. He is the Chair of the HOA's Community Engagement Committee. Romer also served as an Ambassador for the City of Sacramento's Community Engagement Program and is currently Vice President for the Sacramento Chapter of the Asian Pacific American Public Affairs (APAPA), a national advocacy group for AANHPI communities. Romer is also a lead volunteer at Joey’s Food Locker, a local food pantry which provides free food and groceries for underserved families within the Natomas Unified School District.
Romer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After graduating, he used his degree and volunteered his time as a bilingual crisis counselor for the San Francisco Aids Foundation.
