Hampton University Generation Action (HUGA) was founded on the campus of Hampton University on September 20, 2017. We are a political, social and health advocacy organization on the campus of Hampton University and we strive to organize through a reproductive justice lens.

As an organization we work to ensure that every version of the Hamptonian is represented at the table. No matter whether we are in class, advocating within SGA, chanting at rallies, or in our dorms, we always fight to ensure that every student's voice is heard.

In the spring of 2018 we were the first PP Gen. Action Chapter and the first HBCU Chapter to win the Champion of Reproductive Health Award from Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Since then we have embarked on a multitude of projects to achieve equity and increase accessibility of reproductive services on our campus.
