"Meet a local, visit a Swede" - visit us in the countryside in Småland and enjoy a Swedish fika or a meal in our home! (Svensk text nedan)
- an authentic and genuine Swedish countryside experience where hospitality, conversation, and meaningful encounters are at the heart of every visit.

Visit us, Cathrine and Kenth, at our farm in Hammar, Småland. We will share stories about our life in the Swedish countryside, give you a guided tour of the farm, and introduce you to our horses, the traditional Swedish North Swedish Draft Horses. We will also take a short walk to the nearby lake and enjoy the beautiful nature of Småland.

Afterwards, we gather in our home to share either a traditional Swedish meal or a classic Swedish fika. We serve Swedish specialties and enjoy conversations about Swedish traditions and everyday life. If you choose the fika experience, you will enjoy homemade cinnamon buns along with a generous selection of traditional Swedish cookies and pastries.

During the summer, we welcome you to our terrace overlooking the garden, horse pasture, and Lake Solgen. During the rest of the year, we host you inside our home, a traditional red wooden Swedish house with white trim.

• Visit us in December and experience the magic of a Swedish countryside Christmas. Enjoy the winter landscape, meet our horses, and take a guided walk around the farm with us.

• In our beautifully decorated home, we serve a traditional Swedish Christmas fika including glögg (mulled wine), julmust, saffron buns, and a variety of Christmas cookies. We will share stories about how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden and explain Swedish holiday traditions and customs.

Included:

• Guided tour of Hammar Farm hosted by Cathrine and Kenth.

• Traditional Swedish fika in our private home, including homemade cinnamon buns, assorted Swedish cookies, coffee, tea, and juice/lemonade. (In December we offer Christmas fika with glögg)

•  1–4 guests: SEK 3,200 (including VAT)  Additional guests (more than 4): Adults: SEK 750 per person, Children 6–12 years: SEK 450 per child, Children under 6 years: Free of charge

• Maximum group size: 8 guests

• Time: Approximately 2 hours, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

Price: Meet a local – with a Swedish DINNER (3 hours)

Included:

• Guided tour of Hammar Farm hosted by Cathrine and Kenth.

• Dinner with your hosts in our home, consisting of two courses featuring traditional Swedish cuisine and dessert. Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages included.

•  1–4 guests: SEK 4,800 (including VAT).  Additional guests (more than 4): Adults: SEK 1,200 per person, Children 6–12 years: SEK 600 per child, Children under 6 years: Free of charge

• Maximum group size: 8 guests

• Time: Approximately 3 hours, choose afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM or evening: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Additional Information 

• All experiences must be booked and paid for at least two weeks in advance.

• Free cancellation with a full refund up to one week before arrival.

• Experiences are available year-round. Please contact us for available dates and times.

• We have limited possibilities to accommodate special dietary requirements and food allergies. Vegetarian meals can be provided upon request, please inform us at the time of booking.

- Välkommen hem till oss, Cathrine och Kenth,  på vår gård i Hammar!
- Vi berättar om vårt liv på landet i Småland, vi visar runt på gården och ni får hälsa på våra hästar av rasen nordsvenska brukshästar.  Vi går också en kort promenad till sjön och njuter av den småländska naturen. 
- Tillsammans äter vi sedan en måltid i vårt hem och bjuder på svensk mat och berättar om traditioner och svenskt vardagsliv eller njuter av en "svensk fika" med hembakade kanelbullar och ett dignande fikabord med småkakor.
- Sommartid sitter vi på vår altan med utsikt över trädgård, hästhagen och sjön Solgen. Övrig tid på året sitter vi inomhus i vårt hem, ett klassiskt rött trähus med vita knutar.  
- En äkta genuin upplevelse där värdskap och möten tillsammans står i fokus!

- besök oss i december , vi  njuter av vinter i naturen och hälsar på våra hästar och visar runt på gården. - Ingår: guidad visning av gården Hammar av värdarna Cathrine och Kenth. Svenskt fika med hembakade kanelbullar och olika småkakor, kaffe, te och saft/lemonad tillsammans med värdarna i vårt privata hem.  
- Pris för 1-4 personer: 3200 kr ink moms/VAT , fler än 4 gäster: 750 kr/vuxen, 450 kr för barn 6-12 år (yngre barn fritt). Max 8 gäster i gruppen.
- Tid: cirka 2 timmar, kl 14-16.

Pris:  Meet a local - med middagsupplevelse 3 timmar
- Ingår: guidad visning av gården Hammar av värdarna Cathrine och Kenth. Middag tillsammans med värdarna i vårt hem bestående av två rätter med svensk traditionell mat och efterrätt. Kaffe och dryck ingår (alkoholfri dryck).
- Pris för 1-4 personer: 4800 kr ink moms/VAT , fler än 4 gäster: 1200 kr/vuxen, 600 kr för barn 6-12 år (yngre barn fritt). Max 8 gäster i gruppen.
- Tid: cirka 3 timmar, dagtid kl 14-17 eller kvällstid kl 17-20.

• Vi har begränsade möjligheter att erbjuda specialkost/matallergier, men vegetarisk kost kan erbjudas, meddela vid förbokning. 

• Alla upplevelser bokas och betalas minst två veckor i förväg. Fri avbokning och full återbetalning en vecka i innan ankomst.
