Fighting for the American Dream
Choosing the American Dream
Dear fellow North Carolinians,
I'm writing to you as a neighbor, not a politician, because I was raised to value freedom, hard work, faith, and family. I'm Stephen Halwright, and I'm running to represent you in the US House of Representatives because I think I can help bring about the change our state deserves.
As a constitutional lawyer, I have dedicated my professional life to protecting individual liberties, opposing excessive government power, and upholding the principles that have shaped this nation. I chose this path because I firmly believe in justice, accountability, and giving everyone an equal opportunity, not because I wanted to gain prestige.
However, I am not the focus of this campaign. It concerns you.
It concerns working families who are having difficulty keeping up with inflation. It's about small business owners attempting to make ends meet. It concerns our veterans, who are deserving of more than just words. Young people are questioning whether the American Dream still exists. I hear you, so I'm running. I am aware of the difficulties you encounter. We can do better, I'm sure.
My pledge to you is straightforward: I will stand up for economic opportunity, common sense, safe communities, and an attentive government. Along with my skills and discipline, I will bring to the job a heart that never forgets my roots and the people I serve.
Playing political games is not why I'm here. I'm here to speak for North Carolina's principles, perseverance, and future. And if you grant me that distinction, I
With respect, resolve, and faith in this great state,
Stephen Halwright
Republican Candidate for Senator from NC
