Give each child a bingo board. When you draw the candy corn picture, the children get to put a marker on the image of Candy Corn on their boards. Easy. Just bring something to use as markers (Candy Corn, Goldfish Crackers, etc.).

Hi! My high school friend, Chris, told me about your blog! Your Halloween bingo game is cute and I will use it with my first graders. That peanut butter cake looks heavenly too! Good luck. The blog looks great!

Hi Meenal! Thanks for stopping by to check things out. The bingo game is always a classic and fun way to entertain kids. As a homeroom parent, I like to use it while they're eating during their Fall Festival party in their classroom. Keeps them busy while they enjoy their treats before we get them up for more active games. Hope your class likes it as well! (And the peanut butter cake WAS heavenly! Thanks! :)

He was playing music bingo - something this former music blogger immediately loved. The way it worked was the caller played a song, and if you had it on your card, you marked it.

I started by putting together a playlist of songs that were easy to recognize OR included the song title in the lyrics during the first 30-45 seconds of the song. And no repeats of popular Halloween terms, like ghost or vampire!

The game is pretty simple: one person is the caller who controls the playlist. Everyone else is a player. The caller plays the first 30-45 seconds of each song on the playlist. If the player has the song, they mark it. First player to get a bingo wins!

Last week when I was driving around my subdivision I noticed how many homes were decorated for Halloween. We always have a lot of houses decorated but this was more than normal. I wanted to think of a fun way for everyone to get out and see the houses that had put so much effort into decorating. I put out a message on our subdivision Facebook page and asked for the addresses of the houses that wanted to be included in a Halloween bingo.

I created two bingos for your to download for free. The first is a bingo with Halloween items for you to find anywhere and everywhere. The second you could fill in with addresses of houses you know are decorated or houses you want to boo. Either way there is fun for everyone!

Another idea! You could take candy with you in the car and hand a little out to the kids each time you mark something off of your bingo card. Literally the sky is the limit and you can make it as fun as you want!

It's easy to play and perfect for kids because it's all Halloween pictures!

Game Instructions

{Bingo is pretty basic, but let's go through it anyway}

 1. Pick some kind of object to mark your squares. {Like candy corn, beans, M&Ms, smarties, wrapped candy, cereal, or any other small items}

 2. Give each player a bingo card and markers. Have each player put a marker over the free space.

 3. The caller will draw a calling piece and announce the item on the card. Each player will cover that item on their card with a marker. Once a player has 5 squares covered in a row {horizontally, vertically, or diagonally}, they call out "BINGO!" and win the game!

 In the set there are 6 different Bingo cards and calling pieces.

 I would recommend laminating cards and calling pieces, and printing on cardstock. All files are 8.5x11" and JPG format.

Bingo is a straightforward game that even kids can easily grasp. The objective is to be the first to get five spaces in a row (or 3 or 4 if using the cards with smaller grids), either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

I created the boards a few weeks ago, using free Halloween clip art from halloweenclipart.com and Microsoft. I made six different boards, each with a different header color, and I made G-H-O-S-T cards and picture cards to use during the game.

Then, for classroom par-tay use, I made enlarged picture cards to put on the board when each picture on it (and the name of each) on the bottom so we can point to them as their picked. That way, kiddos can see more clearly what cards are chosen.
