Greetings Parents and Families,
The Hall-Dale Youth Soccer Board would like to pass along a few important announcements related to Team Pictures, Hall-Dale Homecoming, and future opportunities to support Hall-Dale Youth Soccer.
First, HDYS Team/Group pictures will take place on Saturday, September 17. These pictures will be printed and made available to players on game day at the end of the season. Pictures will be taken on the bleachers between the field hockey and softball fields; please report there with your team/group immediately following your game/session on September 17. (We will try to slightly stagger the First Grade and Pre-K/K groups that are larger).
Second, HDYS players have the opportunity to be recognized during Hall-Dale Homecoming. On Friday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m. Youth players will be recognized between the JV and Varsity boys soccer games. Players and coaches will meet near the scoreboard end of the high school soccer field at 6:00 p.m. to get organized by team/division and be called onto the field.
Third, Pancake Breakfast on September 24. The sophomore class is hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, September 24, from 7:30-11:00 a.m. The cost is $7 for a breakfast plate of 3 pancakes and 2 bacon/sausage with juice, or a family deal of $25 for 4 people. Please stop in to enjoy breakfast before or after your soccer games that morning!
Fourth, thank you to everyone for making this season an overwhelming success so far! By all accounts, this season is a record year for Hall-Dale Youth Soccer. We have 183 players who have signed up to play smashing previous registrations. We also have an amazing number of volunteer coaches with 50 parents and caregivers volunteering their time.
Finally, the Hall-Dale Youth Soccer Board will be seeing some board members transitioning off this year, and we would love to encourage new members to join. No soccer experience is required. The board values all kinds of experience. We always have opportunities for members who can assist with website management, soccer registration, email and social media communication, facilities management (lining fields and blowing up soccer balls), fundraising, and finance.
