About Hall-Dale Youth Basketball

Dedicated to Instruction, Sportsmanship, and Fun
Hall-Dale Youth Basketball includes two programs:
Hall-Dale Instructional Basketball
Hall-Dale Travel Basketball
Both programs are managed by the Hall-Dale Youth Basketball Board
The Hall-Dale Youth Instructional Basketball Program provides instruction on the fundamentals of the game of basketball, teaches sportsmanship during athletic competition, and encourages participants to have fun through a positive experience.
The Hall-Dale Youth Instructional Basketball Program is open to children who are 5 years of age or older before October 15, 2024, or who are in Grade K through Grade 6. Participants must live in Farmingdale, Hallowell, or Dresden.
After players have participated in instructional league for several years, players in grades 3-8 are encouraged to try travel basketball. In order to continue building their basketball skills, travel players are required to participate in the instructional league or be on a Hall-Dale Middle School basketball team.
Although skill development is still stressed in travel basketball, there is a greater emphasis on offensive/defensive strategy and competing in 5 on 5 games and tournaments.
