2025-2026 Instructional Basketball Season

We have made some exciting changes for the 25/26 season. We have recognized that basketball can be a really long season for families, so we have found a way to host our K-6 instructional teams all during the same time session

Grades K-6 Season

December 6th- January 31st

Registration closes on November 8th

Saturdays:

Dec. 6, 13, 20

Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Instructional League Fee K-6:

$30 per player ($90 family cap)

Instructional League Mission

The Hall-Dale Youth Instructional Basketball Program provides instruction on the fundamentals of the game of basketball, teaches sportsmanship during athletic competition, and encourages participants to have fun through a positive experience.

Who Can Play Instructional?

The Hall-Dale Youth Instructional Basketball Program is open to children who are 5 years of age or older before October 15, 2025, or who are in Grade K through Grade 6. Participants must live in Farmingdale, Hallowell, or Dresden.

Who Can Play Travel?

After players have participated in instructional league for several years, students in grade 3-8 are encouraged to try travel basketball. In order to continue building their basketball skills, travel players are required to participate in the instructional league or be on a Hall-Dale Middle School basketball team.

Although skill development is still stressed in travel basketball, there is a greater emphasis on offensive/defensive strategy and competing in 5 on 5 games and tournaments.

Travel League Fees:

$125 per player ($250 family cap)

Important Dates:

Registration Opens: Sept. 24th and closes on Nov. 8th

Try outs TBD based on numbers- coaches will reach out

Manditory Parent Town Hall: Nov. 5th @ H.S Theater

Practice will begin the week of Nov. 10th
