Dispatch is no longer being sold as we have transitioned to Speedify ( ). Speedify is a completely new product, separate from Dispatch. Whereas Dispatch was a load balancer that could only help with downloads using multiple connections (BitTorrent, or downloads using a download manager), Speedify is connection bonding, with support for combining more types of Internet connections and works for more of the things you do online, including regular file downloads, video streaming, and uploads. Try Speedify for free today!

Unfortunately, no, this is not possible with Dispatch. Dispatch can not accelerate VPN connections, it only load balances traffic across multiple adapters. Some VPNs that open multiple sockets won't work when those sockets are split onto different Internet connections.

You would want Speedify ( ) instead, which can split even single sockets across multiple connections.

Connectify Hotspot Dispatch Connection With {FULL VERSION ONLY ONSFU}

From the "Internet to Share" dropdown menu, you will see the available sources of the Internet that you can share. The source selected here will be the one through which hotspot clients will connect. If a source is not listed in the dropdown menu, Connectify Hotspot cannot identify it as a functioning device or connection. Hotspot also provides a 'Help Me Pick' link that will automatically select an adapter that has a connection to the Internet and can be used. In addition, it will also tell you why it picked that option.

Note: If a source has 'PRO' listed next to it, or you see 'PRO/MAX only feature', that means it is unavailable in the free version of Connectify Hotspot but is available to those with a PRO or MAX license.

If nothing is listed beside 'No Internet sharing' and 'Automatic' and you are sure that something should be listed there, another program may be interfering with Connectify Hotspot (or its drivers), preventing it from discovering available sources. Programs that affect the way your computer interacts with networks might be causing it. These programs include firewalls and security suites, and often the only way to figure out which is causing the problem is to investigate each one. Try disabling and/or uninstalling programs that fit this description.

Connectify launched their first product, Connectify Hotspot, in October 2009.[9] It can enable a Windows PC to serve as a router over Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Along with a Windows 7, 8 or 10 certified Wi-Fi device it can act as a wireless access point. This enables users to share files, printers, and Internet connections between multiple computing devices without the need for a separate physical access point or router.

To explain how Dispatch works, whenever an application opens a socket, it decides which connection to use to send the data for that socket. Most traditional file transfer tools or streaming services only use one socket at a time, so Dispatch cannot accelerate that individual connection. Dispatch splits sockets among multiple Internet connections, so a single FTP transfer can only be put on one connection. You can however, select certain applications to use specific adapters in Dispatch Settings under the Application Tab. So if you were to start multiple FTP transfers or streaming services (assuming the program supports making multiple sockets), then you should see the speed of both interfaces.

In this Instructable I plan to demonstrate how anyone can use a utility to funnel multiple networks to one computer and how to create a connectable wifi hotspot.

Why would I want to do this? Simple. I will use my own situation as an example. I am at college right now, and on our campus we have two basic networks for student use: Wireless and Wired. Our wireless spans anywhere from 5-10 Mb/s with random drops when there are many users. The wired connection gets from 10-15 Mb/s and I very rarely notice any lag spikes on this connection. So both of these connections, while fast are unreliable and lets face it, it can always be faster.

I will divide this tutorial into only 2 more steps after this one; the next will be on how to Dispatch the networks and the following step will be on how to create the network.

For this instructable you will need:

A computer with multiple ways to connect to networks (i.e. lan cards, wifi cards, etc.)

Connectify (this program is NOT free. It offers to buy connectify or dispatch or both. We will use both, however if you only want to combine networks, you only need dispatch and if you want to create a wifi hotspot then you only need connectify)

Moving on...

Dispatch is a plug in for connectify that essentially allows you to connect to different networks on different devices (wifi, lan) and then channel the connections togeather to get faster and more stable internet use.

To start off download and install Dispatch. You will need to restart your computer and then you can boot up the program.

Start the program by clicking the icon and then access it through the system tray. Next you will see a fairly straight forward window with your bandwidth usage and your internet adapters on the bottom. There you can see what adapter is connected to what along with the latency and reliability. For my set up I chose to make my wired connection my "primary connection" by picking it in the drop down menu. I chose this as my primary because it is overall the fastest and most reliable of my two connections. I then set my wireless connection as my "backup" connection. The backup connection simply augments the primary network when possible for greater speed and also is there as, well, a backup in case the primary connection fails.

Once you set these two, you are all done this step! you can head over to speedtest.net and check out the difference.

The next step is to create the wifi hotspot. Go ahead and click on connectify in your toolbar and you will be presented with a small screen.

To start, enter a name for you hotspot to appear as, the default is Connectify-me. Next, set a password and pick which internet to share. For this you can choose a single adapter or dispatch. Chosing a single adapter will essentially channel all internet traffic on the hotspot straight to that internet port. If you followed the last step, you can choose dispatch which will allow your hotspot to access the internet pool you have created earlier.

When you have finished you can click on the "start hotspot" button and your good to go! just connect your devices to it and enjoy blazing fast internet.

Connectify Hotspot makes all of your devices happy. This easy-to-use virtual router application lets you share the Internet from your laptop with your smartphone, tablet, media player, e-reader, other laptops, and even your friends nearby. Use it anywhere in the world without restrictions. Connectify Hotspot includes a new universal ad blocker to prevent annoying and unwanted ads from appearing on devices that join your hotspot! It can even block in-app ads on iPhones, iPads, and Android mobile devices! Connectify Hotspot makes Internet traffic look like everything comes from your computer - even if it comes from connected devices such as other computers, game consoles, smartphones or smart TVs. This way, you can connect all of your devices to the Internet without worrying about Internet access restrictions.

It auto-disconnects wifi on wired connection, except for connection names ending with -hotspot (like the default names Kubuntu uses for created access point connections). It allows sharing wireless hotspot from cable. So, instead of disabling radio for all WiFi, it just disconnects the network you're using. When the cable is unplugged, it reconnects the wireless device wlo1, which makes it reconnect the last used WiFi network.

Note that if you turn off the computer without cable and plug it before turning it on, it may start with both wifi and wired connections. Similarly, I presume, if you remove the cable while computer is off, it won't auto-connect at startup, I think.

I use my laptop in three geographic locations. In each of these locations there is a unique wifi network, with it's own unique SSID that I connect to.The laptop uses only WPA and WPA2 Personal protocol to connect in all three of these locations.

I have tried deleting the network manager connection profile for this third location, countless times, using the nm-applet GUI on the tint2 taskbar, and then reconnecting again to the third locations SSID with the correct password etc.But doing this changes nothing about the problem.

So now I have an Ethernet cable plugged into the laptop, and the laptop WiFi physical switch, on the side of the laptop switched off. It connects to the internet through the attached Ethernet cable, but it looses it's connection for 5 seconds in every 10 seconds. In other words it cycles the connection, on and off, as it does with the WiFi. Again, this also only happens in the third location. Once connected I am again usingsudo killall -STOP NetworkManagerafter the connection is established to stop the cycling.

This problem might have been caused by a recent router firmware upgrade, however I have an identical laptop with, more or less identical software installed, which does not have this network connection issue. Also other devices on the router LAN do not experience this cyclic connect / disconnect problem. That said, I think it may, I'm not certian on this, have been at about the time of the router firmware upgrade, that this problem began.

The fixTo fix this I simply disabled ipv6 connections, for both wifi and ethernet cable connections, in the nm-applet network manager gui tab for the third location only. After disabling, both wifi and cable ethernet connections connect to the network in a durable consistent way that does not cycle through connect and disconnect.

My theory (not sure about it, of course) is that the "regular" connectivity check (the one that runs every 5 minutes, when the machine is online already) isn't ready for IPv6. That is, it doesn't seem to have a sanity check that an IPv4 connection is enough. The connectivity check that runs after the NetworkManager is offline then only checks IPv4 (hence the cycle). be457b7860
