HOW TO USE

STEP 1 : Installing the Verify Halal App

Locate your App Store:

For Android users: Open the "Google Play Store" app on your device.
For Apple (iOS) users: Open the "App Store" app on your device.

Search for "Verify Halal":

In the search bar at the top of the App Store screen, type "Verify Halal" and press Enter or the search icon.

Select the Official App:

Look for the app with the official "Verify Halal" logo (as seen in the video). Tap on it to open its details page.

Install the App:

Tap the "Install" or "Get" button. You might need to confirm your choice with your device's password, fingerprint, or face ID.
Wait for the app to download and install. This may take a few moments, depending on your internet connection.

Open the App:

Once installed, you can usually tap "Open" directly from the app store page, or find the "Verify Halal" icon on your device's home screen or app drawer and tap it to launch.

STEP 2 : Sign Up / Log In

REGISTER

Choose to create a new account, using your nickname and email address

LOG IN

Enter nickname and email address registered

STEP 3 : Using the Verify Halal App's Features

SCAN BARCODE

Select Scan Type: Choose "Scan Barcode" from the options that appear.

Scan: Position your device's camera over the barcode or QR code on a product's packaging. Ensure the code is well-lit and fits within the scanning frame.

View Results: The app will automatically process the scan and display detailed product information, including its Halal status.

SCAN TEXT

Select Scan Type: Choose "Scan Text" from the options.

Capture Text: Point your camera at the text you wish to scan (e.g., ingredients list, product name on packaging). Tap the camera icon to take a picture.

View Results: The app will analyze the text and display search results related to the scanned information.

SCAN HALAL LOGO

Select Scan Type: Choose "Scan Halal Logo" from the options.

Capture Text: Point your camera at the Halal logo you wish to scan. Tap the camera icon to take a picture.

View Results: The app will analyze the text and display search results related to the scanned information.

STEP 4 : Searching for Products

Access Search Bar: Locate the search bar at the top of the main screen.

Select Product Filter: Tap the "filter" icon (three lines) next to or within the search bar.

Choose Category: Select the "Product" icon (often represented by a shopping tag or product box).

Enter Product Name: Type the name of the product you want to search for into the search bar.

View Results: The app will display a list of products matching your search query, along with their Halal verification status.
