. Data Collection
The Hairstyle application collects photos that you upload, which may contain facial images. These photos are used solely for the purpose of applying virtual hairstyle and hair color transformations. Photos and hairstyle selections are processed through a third-party AI service (Replicate API) to generate the transformed images you request.1.1. Face Data Collection and UseWhen you use our hairstyle transformation feature, you may upload photos containing facial images. We collect and process these photos exclusively for the following purpose:
Processing the uploaded image through an AI model (Replicate API) to generate a modified version with different hairstyles and/or hair colors as selected by you
The image is sent to Replicate API for processing only
We do not use face data for identification, tracking, advertising, or any other purpose beyond the hairstyle transformation feature
2. Analytics and Tracking
The app uses Firebase Analytics to improve user experience. This service collects app usage statistics and performance data. Additionally, advertising tracking data may be collected with App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.
3. Subscriptions
The app offers weekly and yearly subscription options through RevenueCat. Subscription information is processed securely by App Store and RevenueCat. Subscription management can be done through your App Store account.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1. Replicate API (Face Data Processing)The app uses the Replicate API (https://api.replicate.com) for hairstyle generation. Photos you submit, which may contain facial images, are sent to Replicate API solely for processing purposes to generate transformed images with different hairstyles and hair colors.Data Sharing with Replicate API:
Your uploaded photos (including any facial images) are shared with Replicate API only for the purpose of processing your hairstyle transformation request
Photos are sent securely via HTTPS to Replicate API
Replicate API processes the image and returns the transformed result
According to Replicate's service terms, processed images are automatically deleted from Replicate's servers within 1 hour after processing
4.2. Data Storage and RetentionOn Our Servers:
We do NOT store face data or uploaded photos on our servers at any time
Photos are sent to Replicate API for processing only and are not retained by us
On Third-Party Service (Replicate API):
Face data (uploaded photos) is retained on Replicate's servers for a maximum of 1 hour after processing
After 1 hour, the data is automatically deleted according to Replicate's data retention policy
On Your Device:
The original uploaded image remains on your device (in your photo library if you chose to upload from there) as long as you choose to keep it there
The app does not retain copies of uploaded images in its local storage
You can optionally save the processed result image to your device's photo library, which is stored locally on your device only
5. Data SecurityAll data is processed using secure protocols (HTTPS). Your photos are sent to Replicate API using encrypted connections. Photos are stored temporarily on Replicate's servers only during processing (maximum 1 hour) and are automatically deleted after completion. We do not store your photos on our servers
.6. ChangesThis privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
