Teaching in the UK

Haiming was a course leader for BSc (Hons) Information Technology course. She teaches a wide range of Computer Science related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level nationally and internationally. For example:

• Information Technology Industries Project

• Data Engineering, Retrieval and Presentation - interactive multimedia information retrieval

Teaching abroad

Haiming was a link coordinator for Patan College for Professional Studies (PCPS) in Nepal, for CTS College of Business and Computer Science Ltd in Trinidad and for Roots IVY Interantional College in Pakistan. Prior to these roles, Haiming was the Undergraduate link coordinator for Majan College in Oman and was acting as the account manager for Majan College in 2015/2016 to oversee the delivery of both computing and business school.

Supervision of BSc and MSc Projects

Haiming annually supervises 10-15 BSc and MSc final year projects nationally and internationally (UK, China, Oman, etc.) on a wide range of Computer Science and related subjects.

Haiming achieved Senior Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) in 2021
