Collector's Notes
Itso is in the style of, like an orchestra recording a concerto of Mozart. With authenticity, provenance and appraisal paperwork they are as collectible and can fetch as high, or higher, prices at private aucitons and collector circles as the name artist. The same as a San Francisco Philamonic album of Mozart. The advantage of itso ("it's so") is the same quality at a 10th of the price and insurance costs. Unlike renting the San Francisco Philamonic.
Judy Watson Napangardi exhibits in major museums around the world. Her top sale so far is 280,000 Euros for a large work. Judy passed in 2016, so her genuine works are now very limited. For collectors and indivual art investors, Australian Indigenous art is an art industry recomended safe bet. With the paperwork itso it's so.
