Adult Day Training
Adult Day Training (ADT) is a service intended to support the participation of our clients that are age and culturally appropriate. ADT services include the activities in a non-residential setting which provides training and assistance which has proven to improve in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills for the individual. ADT services may include recreational and other activities to help the development of social skills in performing activities of daily and community living. The training, activities, and routine established by the our agency are designed be meaningful to the client and provide an appropriate level of variation and interest.
ADT services generally begins at the age of 22 years when a client is out of the public school system or when they have graduated from the public school system, receiving a standard diploma. Client who are age 22 years or older who have not graduated are also eligible.
