 As an APD/Medicaid approved provider, we are responsible to provide adequate staffing levels to meet the health and safety needs of our clients, even if the staffing levels are above the identified minimum staffing levels for the clients in the home. APD review and approve as appropriate increased rate levels for clients who consistently require increased levels of staffing to ensure health and safety. Our group homes provide standard level residential habilitation services. We provide a level of service consistent with the minimum direct care staff hours per person per day. The required staffing ratios are established by the provider using the available total minimum direct care staff hours per person per 24 hour day.
