Introduction to Hack@Code 

Hack@Code is a national online thematic coding and robotics competition proudly organized by YES.WE.CAN, designed to inspire and empower young coders between the ages of 7 to 14 to bring their ideas to life through technology. Participants may join as individuals or form teams of up to three members to take part in either the Coding Challenge or the Robotics Challenge, both crafted around a yearly theme.

In the Coding Challenge, students will use the suggested coding platform to create interactive stories, animations, games, or a hybrid of all—showcasing their creative and logical thinking. In the Robotics Challenge, teams will build and program a robot to complete a thematic mission within a fixed time limit, demonstrating innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Age Categories

Participants will compete in the following age divisions:

• Primary Category: Ages 7 to 12 (Primary 1 to Primary 6)

• Secondary Category: Ages 13 to 14 (Secondary 1 to Secondary 2)
