Lecturer: As part of my academic engagement at Wolkite University, I have contributed to a range of undergraduate programs (regular, summer, night, and distance) through course instruction and module development across multiple delivery formats. My teaching portfolio includes the following positions, arranged by academic year: Lecturer : October 2021- October 2022. Taught courses: Business Statistics, Entrepreneurship, Financial Management and Human Resource Management. Lecturer: July 2017- September 2019. Graduate Teaching Assistant- April 2015- October 2015. Taught courses: Introduction to Business, Management Information System and Principle of Marketing.
Teaching methods: I love experiential teaching methodology, but I always keep in mind the nature of the course. For quantitative courses, I incorporate lab sessions for data analysis, worksheet exercises, and open-book exams ( in some cases). In applied science courses, I use film analysis, case studies, company visits, and in-class debates to connect students with real-world applications. For behavioral science courses, I ethically incorporate the analysis of blood test results—using anonymized or simulated data—strictly for educational purposes and in full compliance with university policies on ethics and privacy. While I consistently follow traditional assessment methods such as quizzes, tests, midterms, final exams, presentations, and assignments—as required by university regulations—these are the only fixed components of my evaluation approach. All other teaching and assessment methods are situational and adaptable, as I believe there is no one-size-fits-all strategy in education.
