Duties and Accomplishments
ü I give course lectures and other forms of instructions including practical and field demonstrations to undergraduate and post graduate students in the department of Sociology.
ü I carry out scholarly research in the areas of my interest i.e. Economic Sociology, Urban livelihoods, project management, Peace and conflict, sociology of media, social institutions, and social research methods, etc.
ü Besides, I offered several trainings for community-based organizations on a range of topics as part of my responsibility to provide community services.
ü Teaching, undertakes researches; develop teaching materials and modules for courses; plan, implement, advise and evaluate community development programs.
ü Plan and supervise teaching and learning activities at departmental level.

Duties and Accomplishments
ü Project management including coordinating and managing capacity building and livelihood programs.
ü Planned, facilitated and assessed the capacity building programs of partner CBOs and local government on HIV/AIDS and gender issues
ü Planned, coordinated and monitored gender and HIV/AIDS mainstreaming in the project activities.
ü Planned, coordinated, supervised and evaluated the activities of partner income generating cooperatives
ü Trained, mentored, followed-up and supervised the HIV/AIDS and Gender Network as well as the Community Advisory Group which are responsible for providing information and Para-counseling service to the project beneficiaries.
ü Built the organizational capacity of the Project on HIV/AIDS and gender issues through research and dissemination of lessons learnt.
