Anh H. Le

Welcome to my website!

I am Anh H. Le (legal name: Ha Anh Le), a macroeconomist at the New Zealand Treasury and a Research Affiliate at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS). I earned my Ph.D. from Goethe University Frankfurt's Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management (GSEFM), one of Europe's leading centres for economic research.

My work focuses on macroeconomic modelling, monetary economics, forecasting, and policy analysis. I have served as a research consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and collaborated on research projects with international institutions, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and ADB. During my doctoral studies, I worked as a short-term researcher at the IMF, contributing to research on the macroeconomic implications of digital money.

I was a member of the Epidemic Macro Model Database project (led by Volker Wieland and Mathias Trabandt with the team) and was a member of the Macroeconomic Model Database (MMB) (led by Volker Wieland with the team).
