Petitioners with fifty or more employees in the country, with at least half of them in L or H-1B non-immigrant status (under L-1B and L-1A), must pay the additional costs.

The American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement Act of 1998 fee, fraud detection, and prevention fee, and premium processing fee are besides the additional cost.
