WHO WE ARE Gym Synchronicity is a fitness tracking application operated by Ashok Kumar (trading as Gym Synchronicity). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app and our website. For any privacy questions, contact us at gymsync.support@gmail.com.
THE APP: WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT Gym Synchronicity does not collect, transmit, store or share any personal information on external servers. All data you enter into the app — including your training sessions, body metrics, supplement selections, profile details and workout history — is stored exclusively on your device using your device's local storage. We do not collect through the app:
Your name, email address or contact details
Your location
Your device identifiers
Usage analytics or behavioural data
Payment information (all subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google through their own secure payment systems)
HOW YOUR APP DATA IS STORED All app data is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to any server operated by us. It is not shared with any third party. It is not accessible by us at any time. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
OUR WEBSITE AND EARLY-ACCESS LIST If you choose to join our early-access list on our website (gymsynchronicity.com), we collect the name and email address you provide. We use these only to send you news about Gym Synchronicity and your download link when the app launches.
This is optional and based on the consent you give when you submit the form.
Your details are processed on our behalf by our email provider, MailerLite, and stored on their systems in line with their privacy policy. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing us.
SUBSCRIPTION BILLING Gym Synchronicity offers paid subscription plans managed through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) and Google Play Billing (Android). We do not process, store or have access to your payment details. All billing is handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies. To manage or cancel your subscription:
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Gym Synch
Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → Gym Synch
HEALTH AND FITNESS INFORMATION Gym Synchronicity allows you to enter fitness and body metrics data such as weight, body fat percentage and training performance. This information is stored only on your device. We never transmit, analyse or share this health-related data. Gym Synchronicity is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical application. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning a new exercise or supplement programme.
AGE REQUIREMENT Gym Synchronicity is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the app or submit your details through our website.
YOUR RIGHTS (UK GDPR) Because your app data stays on your device, you control it directly — you can edit or delete it in the app at any time. For the personal data we do hold (the name and email on our early-access list, and any support emails), you have the right under UK data protection law to:
access the personal data we hold about you;
ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate;
ask us to delete it ("right to erasure");
object to or ask us to restrict our use of it; and
withdraw your consent at any time (for example, by unsubscribing). To exercise any of these rights, email gymsync.support@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
DATA RETENTION We keep your early-access details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our records and MailerLite. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query. App data is kept on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
