Privacy Policy

Gymenda respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and managed when you use the Gymenda Android application.
Information we collect
When you create or use a Gymenda account, we may collect:
• Your email address and account identifier
• Your preferred measurement unit
• Calendar events, event notes and reminder settings
• Workout names, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights and notes
• App preferences and subscription or purchase entitlement status
• Basic technical information required for authentication, security, diagnostics and operation of the app
Gymenda does not intentionally collect payment-card details. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play.
How we use your information
We use this information to:
• Create and secure your Gymenda account
• Save and synchronise your calendar and workout information
• Display workout progress and statistics
• Provide event reminders
• Remember your preferences
• Restore eligible purchases and subscription access
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the app
• Prevent fraud, misuse and security threats
• Respond to support and account-deletion requests
Firebase and Google services
Gymenda uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to provide account sign-in and cloud data storage.
Information may be processed by Google in accordance with Google’s privacy policies and security practices. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country.
Advertising
The free version of Gymenda may display non-invasive advertising provided by Google AdMob or another disclosed advertising provider.
Advertising providers may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions and diagnostic information to provide, measure and protect advertising.
Where required, Gymenda will request consent or offer privacy choices before using data for personalised advertising. Paid ad-free plans do not display third-party advertising while the relevant entitlement remains active.
Purchases and subscriptions
Gymenda may offer one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and provides Gymenda with information needed to confirm the purchase, such as product, transaction and entitlement status.
Gymenda does not receive your complete payment-card information.
AI features
Certain subscription plans may provide optional AI-assisted features. If you choose to use an AI feature, the information you submit to that feature may be processed to generate the requested response.
Gymenda will identify AI features clearly and will not intentionally send your private calendar or workout information to an AI service unless it is required for the feature you choose to use.
AI-generated information may be inaccurate and should not be treated as professional medical advice.
Notifications
Gymenda may schedule notifications on your device for reminders that you create. You can disable notification permission through your device settings.
Data sharing
Gymenda does not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared only:
• With service providers needed to operate the app
• With Google for Firebase, Google Play, advertising and related services
• When required by law or a valid legal request
• To protect users, prevent fraud or defend legal rights
• When you explicitly request or consent to the sharing
Data retention
Your information is retained while your Gymenda account remains active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes and maintain security.
When your account is deleted, Gymenda will request deletion of the associated account and cloud data. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting or security purposes.

Account deletion is permanent and may remove your account, calendar events, workouts and saved preferences. Purchases and subscriptions managed by Google Play may be subject to Google Play’s separate records and policies.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials.
Children’s privacy
Gymenda is not directed at children under 13, or the applicable minimum digital-consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
International users
Gymenda may be used internationally. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Applicable privacy rights may vary by location.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain uses of your personal information. Contact us to make a privacy request.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Gymenda’s features, services or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this page.
