Establishment

In the winter of 2018, alumni of various undergraduate teams set out to establish a senior side and take women's rugby in the Upstate to the next level. The end result has been the Greenville Women's Rugby team, informally known as the Greenville Grizzlies.

The team plays college and women's teams from South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, and other surrounding states. The regular 15s matrix season takes places in the fall while tournaments are during the spring and 7s takes place in the summer.
