Background of your officers

Pradeep Sonawala, is President since 2018. Born and brought up in Mumbai India, he came to US in 1965, graduated in Electrical Engineering and joined Caterpillar Co. in Peoria IL.

After 10years he was appointed COO of Tektronix JV, located in India. in 1988 he took the Co. public and listed in Indian stock exchanges till 1996 after achieving the objectives of JV.

In 1966 he became Managing Director of Santa Clara based software Co. and moved to CA in '04. In 2007 it was acquired.

He is married to Sharmi, a Physical Therapist who consulted Kaiser till as Sr. Therapist till 2019. Their daughter & son had moved earlier to Bay Area in CA. They are vegetarian and practice Hindu lifestyle. They support Hindu spiritual communities. He is a Paul Harris Fellow, 1989.

They moved to Santa Clara in 2004 & to The Villages in 2014. He is founder member of GVCC and active member of Tennis, Table Tennis & Pickle Ball clubs. His email is globalvcclub@gmail.com and phone 650-336-3310.
