Guitar Amp Vst Plugins Free Download !NEW!

I record amateur guitar covers for fun and recently just started using a proper professional recording software (Reaper) after previously doing my covers through GarageBand iOS on my phone (ie I'm a total noob when it comes to recording software). Something that I really like about Garageband is that there's this plugin called Tonebridge which essentially recreates the exact tones of any song you can think of. It's super efficient in that regard and the tones people create on there are really fantastic.

Does anyone know what the closest thing to that would be that I could use in Reaper? Keep in mind I know nothing about plugins/amp and tone sims. I did some searching and I installed Guitar Rig 6, which advertised that it had like hundreds of amp and tone sims, but I think I'm using it wrong because I'm only able to find a "Straightforward Metal" preamp when I search for "Metal". I imagine there would be a lot more that it should offer but I don't know how I'd go about finding it.

Like we said, buying guitar VSTs can be a bit overwhelming at times. There are loads of questions you should be asking yourself before you settle on a certain VST or piece of guitar-related software. Does it sound the way you want? Does it integrate well with your DAW? Can you use it in a standalone setting? These are all questions that need answers before you take the plunge.

Im new to audition so im still learning alot. I come from protools but as a graphic designer i have the suite so i figured i could start using audition since im already paying for it. I used to record only vocals so i have never had this problem or the need to figure it out. Now im recording instruments (guitars). I have audition cc , and imac, and a scarlett solo interface. I recently purchased a plug in for the guitars. My problem is that i cannot hear the plug in effects until after i record. I can hear my guitar dry as im recording but i cant hear the effects till after? This is probably and easy fix since im a newbie. If anyone could help id really appreciate it. The second point may be more significant; to put the effect on your guitar, the signal has to go into the computer, get processed, and then get out again. @ClaudioPorcellana It may be that you are finished with UJAM, but others may be interested in an easy way to use Scaler with UJAM without doing any modification within Scaler itself like transposition. Note that midiForceToRange would work with other guitar plugins as well that do chord recognition outside the range that Scaler normally provides. Things can also get interesting if you feed UJAM or Strum GS-2 with Scaler rhythms or even Scaler performances.

I am a bit confused why you think the pattern database is very very poor for UJAM guitars. There are 50 different styles in Amber, and each style has 12 patterns so that is 600 different patterns. The pattern speed can be changed from half time to double time. Plus there are an additional 23 common phrases available no matter what style you choose. It is true that there are no expansion packs but 600 patterns is nothing to sneeze at.
