Adelphi Road Sector Plan Information Session and Forum

The Prince George’s County Planning Board and the Prince George’s County Council are in the process of developing an Adelphi Road-UMGC-UMD Purple Line Station Area Sector Plan to guide the development of a new neighborhood in the 102-acre area between the University Hills/College Heights Estates neighborhoods and the University of Maryland.
Find out more about the proposed plan in this special information session and forum led by Dr. Amy Sapkota, University of Maryland professor of environmental health, joined by other community leaders, including Hyattsville Ward 2 council member Danny Schaible and College Park District 3 council member Stuart Adams.
The information session will provide an overview of the current draft of the Adelphi Road Sector Plan, highlight environmental concerns and other weaknesses in the plan, and discuss ways to advocate for crucial improvements.
