I am an avid outdoorsman having spent my life navigating and exploring many of California’s environments. I have extensive backpacking and camping experience ranging from solo backcountry trips to multi day large group trips. I have been fortunate to explore many of California's ecosystems from the deserts to the granite peaks to the tidal zones.

I have fished all over California, and throughout the western United States. I have competed in professional bass fishing tournaments taking top honors in many competitions, and was awarded angler of the year with The Marin Bass Club. I am very skilled at targeting many species including large and smallmouth bass, trout, catfish, and other panfish. I am proficient in several fresh and saltwater techniques although my main expertise is with freshwater with a strong emphasis on spinning and bait-casting styles, as well as fly fishing. I am drawn to lakers, ponds, rivers, streams and creeks, although I am confident in many saltwater techniques. I have over 15 years free diving experience exploring the tidal zones of our beloved North Coast. I have extensive abalone, poke poling, surf casting, rock picking, and spear fishing experience. You could say I’m very at home in the ocean. I also have countless resources for our local charter boat fleets, and other guide opportunities.

I have extensive experience, with tracking, hunting, and foraging skills. I hold my firearms and hunters safety certificates and am proficient in proper firearm safety and protocols.

 I have extensive first aid, and CPR training, as well as expansive knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
