My name is Dan Harrison (He, Him, They). I am the founder of Guide & Gather Outfitters and Wilderness Education. I was born and raised in Northern California, and currently live in Oakland. I am a lifelong educator with over 25 years of teaching experience and a lifetime outdoorsman.

I am passionate about nature and wilderness education. I feel by educating ourselves and embracing nature we have an undeniable advantage to overcome many of life's stressors.
