What is a Science Fair Project?
A science fair project is a unique way for students to ask questions for which they must seek solutions and to satisfy their own curiosity about the world around them. A science fair project consists of four components:
1. The experiment
The student will choose a topic and conduct the experiment.
2. The research paper
The student will write a formatted and cited research paper which will include their review of literature about their topic and a summarization and conclusions of the experiment conducted.
3. The visual display
The student will prepare a backboard that illustrates their entire project.
4. The oral presentation.
The student will present an oral summary of their project to judges.
