Guardians Of Brownedge Pond, part of the Bamber Bridge in Bloom group, is a voluntary community action group made up of local residents who help keep the Central Parks area from Brownedge Pond to Chicken Path welcoming, accessible, and safe.
Volunteers in the group keep an eye open for problems in the area such as fly-tipping, invasive plants, and safety hazards, and then report these to the local council.
Volunteers also occasionally meet up to keep the area tidy and looking beautiful for the whole of Bamber Bridge and Lostock Hall to enjoy.
If you would like to join the team and become a Guardian of Brownedge Pond, you can find out how to on the Bamber Bridge in Bloom "Join Us" page.
Events and issues are organised and discussed using a Whatsapp group.
You can follow the progress of the group on our Facebook page.
Please note that this group is part of the Bamber Bridge in Bloom community group.
