This is where our users can see the information about the GT Movies Store, such as who it's made for and what it can do. This page also allows for users to either log in or sign up for a new account. Doing so requires a unique username, valid email address, as well as a password. For users that have previously signed up but have forgotten their password, a re-confirmation link can be sent to the email that they originally registered with.

Upon signing in, the user is automatically redirected to a screen containing the list of all available movies. Additionally, the menu at the top now contains 2 more tabs, allowing users to view what movies are currently in their cart and also their past orders. By clicking on their username in the top right-hand corner, the user also has the ability to change their password or logout at any time.

Movie Listings

This page displays all movies that are currently available for purchase in a grid-like fashion, ordered alphabetically. The exact size of the grid columns adapts to the current screen size, ensuring that the information can be clearly seen on all devices. Simple information about the movie, such as a visual, name, release year, age rating, and price can be seen from this screen. By using the search bar in the top of the page, the user is also able to filter the movies, and show only the ones that contain a given string of characters in their name.

The styling of the page adapts to the user hovering their cursor over certain movies, and clicking on any of the movies brings them to a more detailed description page for the movie.

Movie Descriptions

This page displays all available information for the given movie. In addition to the information from the Movie Listings page, the user is also able to see movie descriptions (from Rotten Tomatoes) and other users' reviews of the movie. If the user has left a review of this movie in the past, they are also given the options to edit or delete their review if they choose to do so.

There is also a button for users to add this movie to their cart if they want to purchase it, and they also have the option of choosing how many copies of the movie that they want. Clicking this redirects the user to their shopping cart for further action.

Movie Listings

Once in their cart, the user is able to see their temporary purchase ID, the price and name of each movie that they have added, as well as a total sum. From here, they have the option of removing all items from their cart, returning to the Movie Listings for additional shopping, or finalizing their purchase.

By clicking purchase, the users are presented with their order number. This allows them to see their purchase in the orders tab, and also allows the site admins to see the purchase on their end.

Admin Page (inaccessible to users)

This page allows registered admins to change information within the site. They are able to edit and delete information about movies as well as any reviews and purchases. However, users not registered as admins are unable to access this portion of the site.
