- Science not communicated is science not done -
We are passionate about bridging the gap between scientific discovery and community impact through our collaborations with public, educational organizations and local K-12 schools. Our outreach activities aim to:
Expand public understanding of vascular diseases, empowering communities to make informed health decisions and reduce health disparities.
Highlight how engineering innovations can transform human health, showcasing real-world applications that spark curiosity and inspire change.
Ignite the imagination of future generations, encouraging young minds to explore the exciting fields of bioengineering and biomedical engineering.
We proudly partner with organizations like the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee, North Florida Worlds of Work (WOW), and the FSU Childcare & Early Learning Program, etc. to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for science and engineering with the next generation.
We are proud to host the Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), where we empower students to excel in both computational and experimental techniques within fluid mechanics and blood engineering. Our program is designed to:
Advance student's career development by providing valuable networking opportunities within the broader research landscape.
Equip students with graduate-level research skills from cutting-edge computational tools to experimental methods.
Foster growth in academic writing and presentation, helping students develop strong research topics and confidently share their findings.
We’ve had the privilege of mentoring exceptional students, from top-tier institutions like Georgia Tech to local talent from Tallahassee State College (TSC), enriching the academic journey for all involved.
