general outing information

There is usually an outing every month involving camping with the entire troop, on certain seasons, such as summer or winter, special activities such as biking, backpacking, or snow camping are organized. A few weeks prior to the outing, the Scout-In-Charge (SIC) of the event will send an email to everyone, including sign ups and an informational packet. Then, the SIC will continue to update the status of the event through emails, and sometimes, event coordination and discussions will occur within troop and patrol meetings.
