ABOUT GSLSSC MEMBERS
Members join GSLSSC for several reasons: love for Shetland Sheepdogs, to network and make friendships with others involved with Shelties, interest in competitive events, desire to educate or receive education, a way to stay
informed of current events or dog news...
Members enjoy monthly meetings as a club, several events each year, including
shows, competitions, practices, education, parade appearances, and fun!
Current membership includes many talented and friendly individuals: judges, breeders, competitors in agility, obedience, rally, herding, and conformation, trainers, therapy dog owners, Sheltie companion owners, and fans of the breed.
The club is grateful to its members for their contributions of time, expertise, leadership, and efforts that allow the GSLSSC to continually host successful events.
Welcome to the Membership Page of the Official GSLSSC website! On behalf of all the members of the GSLSSC we would like to say THANK YOU for taking the time to visit our website and for your interest in our Club. We hope that enjoy your visit to our website and that you will visit it often for the latest news about the GSLSSC. The GSLSSC welcomes ALL individuals. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings and events. It is not necessary to seek membership in order to attend and participate in functions. We understand that not all individuals who visit our website and/or attend our meetings and/or functions will be interested in seeking membership. Again, you are welcome to attend regardless of your membership status.
There are two forms of membership: full and associate. Full membership in the GSLSSC requires attending two meetings. Full members are allowed to vote, hold office or be eligible for any awards and/or benefits that are provided for full members. Associate members must be sponsored by a full member. This later membership status is intended for those who could not attend regular meetings
