Initiated by the Knights of Columbus - Diocese of Iligan.
Headed by Godofredo Lumbo, Jr. and Clenio Dumlao, in partnership of the Diocese of Iligan's Bishop, the Most Rev. Emilio Layon Bataclan, D.D.
Established February 1998, during the Knights of Columbus 7th Mindanao state convention.
To provide a home to the poor and abandoned elderly in their remaining years of their life, with mutual caring and support among themselves.
To assist the elderly in adjusting to the demands of old age through comprehensive and unconditional care, enabling healing and integration, with a sense of integrity and hope.
To provide people of the Iligan Diocese the opportunity to find meaning and joy in serving others and help them find true meaning and the essence of their Christian life.
To build a strong organisation that can link up with other concerned groups and potential donors for the sustenance and operation of the Centre/Home of the Aged.
Provide shelter, clothing and food to selected poor elderly whom their families have abandoned or whose families cannot be traced nor located or those considered homeless.
Provide adequate quality of life in their remaining years.
Provide medical assistance for illness and hospitalizations.
Provide decent burial in the event of death.
Run by the Missionary Sisters of Catechism, whose charism includes taking care of orphans.
The home is designed to cater to spiritual and material needs of children who are abandoned.
As of April 2021, houses 20 children ranging from 0-10 years old, and continues to welcome more orphans despite insufficient funds.
To provide a holistic, Christ-centered loving home and family for every empowered child in its care and to promote good family values and relationships to live a life of responsibility and accountability.
