GeoSystems & Infrastructure Laboratory

The GeoSystems & Infrastructure Laboratory welcomes motivated M.S., Ph.D., integrated M.S.–Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral researchers interested in advancing geotechnical engineering.

Our research focuses on understanding and engineering complex ground systems through four key areas: frozen ground and artificial ground freezing, data-driven and physics-informed geotechnics, geological carbon storage and engineered barrier systems, and tunneling and underground infrastructure.
