The Queen’s University Chapter of the Global Society for Genetics and Genome Biology (GSGGB) is a student-run club that strives to advance scientific research towards better treatments and cures for genetic disorders. We aim to accomplish our vision through a wide spectrum of innovative projects, fundraising events, academic seminars, conferences, as well as local community and global outreach initiatives. We believe that advocating for genetic diseases both on campus and within the greater community of Kingston is a necessary step towards fostering an informed population of students and residents regarding the genetic conditions that others face.
