This March, GSGGB will host an undergraduate genetics conference focused on introducing students to the field of genetics and its growing impact on medicine and patient care. Undergraduate speakers will share their personal research journeys, offering insight into how to get involved in genetics research, what opportunities exist at the undergraduate level, and how students can contribute meaningfully. The event will conclude with a competitive case competition where participants compete for the opportunity to have their abstracts published in URNCST. The conference aims to raise awareness of the role of genetics in modern medicine and future care, while encouraging student interest in genetics-related research, including rare disease and translational science.
