As this course will be co-constructed, some course content will be filled in by students during the first two weeks ~ based on their presentation topic.
In order to support students’ theoretical understandings to perform deeper analysis in their research, each week the instructor will cover a topic relevant to the central themes of AI in education. Each week there will be ~ 25- 30 pages of reading for the lecture and discussion portion of the class.
Students may/will assign the class one or two other readings (less than 20 pages) for the weekly content that ties into their presentation topic
This course will use Moodle and Mighty Networks for assignment submission and feedback.
I will engage in two rounds of course feedback before the final course evaluations. This will allow me to make adjustments to the course based on students needs. I will explain the feedback process in class.
Please Note: Mobile computing or communications devices are permitted to be used during the class as long as they are used for the course content. We are trying to model social media use by school administrators (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and best way to do is is to use it!
