Past Programs 

May 11-12, 2024

It was only our second weekend since the start of the program. We had a great time at slingshots. Then had an adventure in the woods where we debated whether a mushroom felt like a cold pancake or a cold egg. Cold egg won. 

May 24-25, 2024

We had an amazing time with our youth this weekend, shooting some archery and taking aim at slingshots. 

We had our first nature arts and crafts experience with 28 participants making nature luminaries. 

The weekend ended with an awesome dive into the spring behavior of birds! 

August 10th

It was a great way to say goodbye to summer with a day at Camp Aquasco. We had two awesome groups of kids come and join our facilitators for tomahawks/knives and slingshots. 

Hope everyone has a great start to the Girl Scout year and a great start to the school year! 

September 7-8

We were so excited to have so many participants join us for our kickoff weekend at Brighton Woods. 

Participants joined us for slingshots and tomahawks during the weekend. 

There was also an impromptu hike which lead to the discover of a terrarium inside of a discarded bottle. 

September 14-15

It was a great weekend to kickoff our fall season at Winona. We had a full weekend of programs! 

Participants learned about migration and the challenges animals face while migrating. Before making bird feeders to help birds migrating. 

We also had a great time at all of our high adventure activities including archery, slingshots and canoeing. 

October 5-6

It was a busy weekend at Winona! We had so many amazing participants come out and enjoy the fall weather with us! 

We had team building, arts and crafts, classes about trees and a campfire to round out the weekend. 

The facilitators had such a great time and we can't wait to do it again this weekend.
