Join us at Camp Brighton Woods for a program about courage, confidence, and action as we learn about women such as Susan B. Anthony and Ida B. Wells, who raised their voices for equality, justice, and the right to vote.
Participants will explore the history of the women's suffrage movement and examine the modern hurdles women face today. Through this program we will blend history with action by encouraging participants to reflect on the past, speak about the present and lead with purpose into the future.

It's time to get excited about conservation during Operation: Save the Species- an exciting program designed to educate and empower the next generation of conservationists. Participants will become wildlife conservation officers (badge included) and go on a mission to learn about threatened/endangered species, explore their habitats and discover what it takes to protect Earth's most vulnerable creatures.

Welcome agents...you have been selected for a top-secret assignment: uncover the truth behind one of nature's greatest threats -- INVASIVE SPECIES!
Participants will dive into the mystery-filled, hands-on investigation of the plants and animals who don't belong and the damage they cause our ecosystems. Play games, conduct experiments and explore camp as participants discover ways to protect our environment from invasive species.

Join us at camp to celebrate the arrival of warm days and the start of the spring camping season. Explore how nature awakens after the winter while welcoming the new season with hands-on exploration and games. Enjoy the new camping season by dusting off your skills or acquiring new ones by participating in high adventure and more!

As cities and towns grow brighter, the stars grow dimmer but we can make a difference. Join us for a late night at camp exploring the night sky and how light pollution affects nature, people and so much more. Through hands-on exploration, night sky observation and exciting activities participants will discover how to become Dark Sky Defenders and protect the darkness we all depend on.

May the 4th be with you in this Star Wars themed activity day where every Girl Scout will get a chance to unleash their inner Jedi. Through crafts, teamwork and high adventure activities inspired by the Star Wars universe Girl Scouts will explore camp and world of Star Wars. Whether they chose the Republic or the Sith everyone will have an out-of-this-world time in a galaxy far, far away!

It's time to explore the amazing habitat called a wetland. Explore the elements which make up a wetland and how when these elements work together to make wetlands one of the most important ecosystems in our areas. Through hands-on activities participants will learn how wetlands help keep the planet healthy while discovering the current threats wetlands face. Through nature exploration and games they will learn how to make a positive changes to protect wetlands in our communities.

June is National Rivers Month, a time to celebrate and reflect on the importance of rivers to both humans and wildlife. Experience the beauty of the Cacapon River by boat while learning about the current threats it and other rivers in the region face. Participate in a camp service project meant to help preserve and promote the health of the river so it can be enjoyed by Girl Scouts now and into the future.
