Venue and Parking

Parking

The parking lots on campus are marked in the campus map below. Rates and information can be found at the WashU parking website. Visitor parking should be plentiful on the dates of the conference since it is over spring break.

CAMPUS MAP

The following is a map of the WashU campus. Visitor parking is rarely full, particularly in the (large and new) underground garage, whose entrance is on Hoyt Drive and Wrighton Way.

In particular, the following marked buildings are the most relevant:

122: Cupples I. The math department building.

121: Crow Hall. Where the student talks are.

139: Hillman Hall, Room 70. Where the Plenary Talks are.

158: The Olin Library. Has a small café on the southern side.

150: Mallinckrodt Center. Contains the campus books store and a Subway.

125: Danforth Campus Center. Contains the main food campus court, which has a variety of options.

THE AREA

The following Google Map contains walking directions from the edge of campus to three areas with plenty of food options: the Delmar Loop, Downtown Clayton, and the Central West End.

Marked in Green is the Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall, the location of our conference dinner!

It also has marked a selection of nearby hotels, coffee shops, and a selection of the attractions in the city.

Public Transit

For travel to and from the university, public transportation offers a much more affordable solution than visitor parking. In particular,  the Blue Line MetroLink between the Clayton Stops and the Central West End Stops cover most of the travel between places we have marked on the map. Trains run every 20 minutes through most of the day.
