About the GSCC

The Graduate Student Combinatorics Conference (GSCC) is an annual conference organized by graduate students. Each year, the conference is held at a different University across the United States. The goals of the conference are to:

(1) provide a platform for graduate students to present their research in a supportive yet professional environment,

(2) expose graduate students to a broad range of combinatorial research by leaders in the field, and

(3) foster collaborations amongst graduate students across the country.

The GSCC was founded by graduate students at University of Minnesota in 2005. Since then, it has been hosted at the following locations:

2011: Pennsylvania State University

2012: University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign

2013: University of Minnesota

2016: Clemson University

2017: University of Kansas

2018: University of Texas - Dallas

2019: University of Pennsylvania & Drexel University

2020: Postponed due to COVID - 19

2021: University of Minnesota

2022: University of California - San Diego

2023: Washington University in St. Louis
