Introduction to Visual Communication and Design

Over the course of the semester the students completed a range of Visual Communication Design tasks over the three fields of Communication, Environmental and Industrial design. Throughout the course the students have learnt how to visually communicate messages and ideas through the making of packaging nets, logos, business cards, phone cases and technical drawings. An emphasis was put into learning and application of the Elements and Principles of Design and the design process.

During the Semester the topics covered were the elements and principles of design, Aztec/Tribal digital phone case designs, mandala drawings, observational drawings, and business card designs.
