General Friedrich Von Steuban

Friedrich Von Steuban (sch-toy-ben) was a general in General Washington's Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.  He wrote a manual for training troops that we still use in the military today.  AND he was a gay man.  https://www.nps.gov/museum/tmc/VAFO/VAFO_Lesson3.html
