Gryffin Learning Center is a community of families. Parents are an integral part of children’s education. We appreciate parents who stay involved at the school.
Every parent is asked to:
File an affidavit with their local school notifying the district that students will not be enrolled
Attend parent nights each term
Support children in keeping up with reading done at home (homework policy)
Volunteer to help at the school
We love having parents involved at the school! There are lots of options:
Coordinate birthday cards and recognition
Invite guest speakers & coordinate rotating electives
Help put together our school’s yearbook
Serve as a classroom aide for Language Art & Math
Help prepare supplies for History & Science activities
Make copies each week
Help gather supplies for school activities
Keep our social media accounts active
Help students plan class parties
Help plan field trips, chaperone field trips & temple trips
Enter study questions into Blooket
Educating a child is a partnership!
Because we focus on meeting each student at their level and helping them find confidence and joy in learning, homework may vary based on the age and ability of the student. Thank you for supporting your students in keeping up with their educational goals.
