2. Information Collection and Use Echo Snap is designed as a photography alignment tool. To provide its core features, the app requires specific permissions:
Camera Access: Used solely to provide a live camera feed so users can take new photos. The app does not record or transmit video/audio to any external servers.
Photo & Media Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): The app allows you to select a "reference image" from your gallery. This image is used locally within the app to create a transparent "ghost" overlay on the camera screen for alignment purposes.
No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or share any personal identification information (PII), such as your name, email address, or location. All image processing happens locally on your device.
3. Data Storage Echo Snap does not use any cloud storage or external databases. Any photos you take or select remain on your physical device unless you explicitly choose to share them using the Android "Share" menu.
4. Third-Party Services The App may use Google Fonts and standard Flutter plugins to function. These services do not receive access to your personal photos or camera feed through our App.
5. Permissions Removal We have explicitly removed high-risk permissions such as QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES and RECORD_AUDIO as they are not necessary for the app's functionality.
6. Children’s Privacy Our App does not collect any data from children. Since no data is collected, we are compliant with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
