There are some tips for improve and to effectively learn science subjects; those are from brilliant.org that I took from 3Blue1Brown and are incredible. The first two will make you go towards studies, giving you the will to study and to be excited about it.

The next ones are important to really train your skills. What you should do to effectively understand what you are doing.
3)Is active: It is not passive! Watching videos and passively watch lessons is not enough.
4)Is applicable: "Use it or lose it" it is essential to apply what you are learning as you learn it.
5)Is community driven: It is also important to be inside a community that inspires you and challenges you as well.
These last ones are important to maintain your interest. A lot of things can let you down and create misleading thoughts about oneself. Those are for you to remember to keep going and still don't give up for your dreams and of what you like.
6)Does not discriminates: What is your age/country/gender etc. does not determine what you are capable of.
7)Allows for failure: Best learners allow many mistakes!
